Sidehill Bonnie (2025 New Intro) - Cutting - Limit 1

Sidehill Bonnie is a silvery pink ball with perfect form. Early in the season she has some green center and the petals may split, but she corrects herself shortly and blooms all season long despite the Southern heat. The plant is about 4-5’ tall and the flowers shimmer under the sunlight. Previously an unreleased cultivar, Sidehill Bonnie is now available for sale for the first time with permission from the hybridizer.

I was lucky enough to visit the gardens of Ray Phillips - the originator of Sidehill dahlias, and given unrooted cuttings of his varieties in October 2024. I managed to root several of them and kept them alive through the winter months to confirm their blooms. My first attempt to overwinter dahlias has succeeded and these varieties are now offered on my site.

For every Sidehill cutting sold through Rainfall Gardens, a percentage of my profit goes back to Ray for his breeding efforts. It's my hope to spread his cultivar far and wide. They're truly beautiful and are hidden gems in the dahlia world.
