Sidehill Greg (2025 New Intro)- Cutting - Limit 1

Sidehill Greg is a creamy white with tight center even early in the season and in the heat of the South. It's a must-have for wedding, moon garden or lover of white flowers. Sidehill Greg was named after Ray's oldest son. Previously an unreleased cultivar, Sidehill Greg is now available for sale for the first time with the hybridizer’s permission.   

I was lucky enough to visit the gardens of Ray Phillips - the originator of Sidehill dahlias, and given unrooted cuttings of his varieties in October 2024. I managed to root several of them and kept them alive through the winter months to confirm their blooms. My first attempt to overwinter dahlias has succeeded and these varieties are now offered on my site.

For every Sidehill cutting sold through Rainfall Gardens, a percentage of my profit goes back to Ray for his breeding efforts. It's my hope to spread his cultivar far and wide. They're truly beautiful and are hidden gems in the dahlia world.
