Sidehill Trishie is named after Ray’s wife Patricia. She actually goes by Pat and the first time I was introduced to her I was so confused lol. I guess Trishie is a nickname Ray gave her?! In any case she’s his most known cultivar and for good reasons, the peachy soft yellow color is beautiful and goes so well with many color schemes. She’s great on both the show table and in arrangements. One of the pictures of her here was as the Flower of the Year at the Tennessee Dahlia Society’s Show in 2024.
For every Sidehill cutting sold through Rainfall Gardens, a percentage of my profit goes back to Ray for his breeding efforts. It's my hope to spread his cultivar far and wide. They're truly beautiful and are hidden gems in the dahlia world.
